FRIENDS AND FAMILIES
Here at the Clinic we know that hearing rehabilitation success comes mostly from a strong support network. That’s why we developed support programs for our patients and their loved ones. We like to get families and friends involved and also provide plenty of ressources and professionnal support.

COUNSELING AND INFORMATION GET-TOGETHER
FAMILY AND FRIENDS PROGRAM
A counseling and information session is offered by a specialized educator and a Hearing Aid Acoustician to help the friends and family members who want to be involved in the patient’s hearing rehabilitation. We discuss how hearing workds and how hearing loss occurs. We also provide adaptation and communication strategies to facilitate relationships throughtout the patient’s hearing rehabilitation. This is a great opportunity to discuss any issues that may have developed since the patient’s initial hearing aid fitting. This program is included with all hearing aid purchases.Book now
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PROGRAM
To help with the social integration of our younger hearing aid wearing patients at school, we offer a fun and informative activity for their classmates. Developed and offered by an elementary school teacher, this 45 to 90 minutes activity (varies with the age of the class) allows kids to get all of their questions about hearing aids answered and aims at minimizing the stigma around hearing aids. Our visit concludes with a short meeting with the teacher to provide troubleshooting tips and tricks for our little patient’s hearing aids.Book now
